Children's Activity Center
Our goal for Spirit of the Earth Church’s Children’s Activity Center
is to provide structured activities, play, and positive social interaction among the children at our events and/or festivals. Keeping this goal in mind the following guidelines have been created in the best interest of all the Children who participate in the Children’s Activities Center:
Guidelines for Parents and Children
- Parents/Guardians must sign their Child/Children in and out of the Children’s Activity Center every time the Child/Children comes to the Center.
- All parents/guardians that have Child/Children in the Children’s Activity Center must remain on site at the event/festival while their Child/Children is in the Children’s Activity Center. We are not a licensed childcare center and any parent who goes of site and leaves their Child/Children at the event/festival unattended will be reported to the proper authorities.
- Parents/Guardians must pick up the child at the designated Center closing time as indicated in the event/festival brochure. If you do not have a brochure please ask the Children’s center staff for an extra one. You, the parent/guardian are responsible for knowing what time to pick up your Child/Children from the Center. If you are more than 10 minutes late, Security will locate you to notify you that you need to pick up your Child/Children. If you are more that 10 minutes late picking up your Child/Children from the center more than once during the event/festival the Child/Children will not be allowed to return to the Center for the duration of the event/festival.
- Children are not allowed at the Community Bonfire located directly behind the house after 9:30pm. Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that their Child/Children are not at the Community Bonfire after 9:30pm.
- A parent/guardian may be asked to pick up his/her Child/Children from the Center at the staff's discretion if the Child/Children cannot follow the rules or becomes too disruptive. As stated in the Event Waiver signed at the Gate upon entrance into the Festival, Spirit of the Earth Church reserves the right to ask any participant to leave without refund for violation of the rules set in place for the safety of all participants.
Please note that each time you sign your Child/Children in for the Children’s Activity Center you are agreeing to the rules as they are stated above.
Each Child/Children must follow the Rules posted in the Children’s Activities Center they are as follows:
- Listen to the Volunteer Staff and be respectful to them and the other Children
- Keep your hands to yourself
- DO NOT leave the Children’s Activity Center unless your Parent/Guardian comes to get you and signs you out.
- If you need to go to the bathroom ask a staff member - DO NOT leave the Children’s Activity Center.
